Jalapeno Salt

his is one of the easiest seasonings you can make using produce straight from your own garden. It can pack a punch or add just a hint of heat, depending on your peppers and preferences. I stumbled upon this recipe while endlessly searching for new ways to process and preserve peppers when I’m inundated with the harvest.

I use my jalapeño salt in guacamole, roasted green enchilada sauce, sprinkled over roasted veggies, and even to rim cocktails (my favorite!). It also makes a unique and easy gift because you can create huge batches using just two ingredients and multiple cooking pans all at once.

Tip: I use the oven method in this recipe because I found it goes a lot quicker than the dehydrator method.
